Dr. Adam Clarke, M.D.Surgeon
Dr. Clarke graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance and biology, magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky. He received his M.D. from the University of Louisville. He then completed a medical and surgical internship at Loyola Medicine MacNeal Hospital in the Chicago area, after which he returned to Louisville for his ophthalmology residency.
Dr. Clarke spent another three years at the University of Louisville, where he received extensive training in medical and surgical ophthalmology. While at the University of Louisville, he won the Dr. Melvyn Koby Educational Excellence Award given to the senior resident who demonstrated superior clinical and surgical skills while delivering compassionate patient care.
Dr. Clarke has been a part of the Restoration Eye Care team since 2021. He practices medical and surgical ophthalmology, performing advance technology cataract surgery, anterior segment procedures such as corneal collagen cross linking, refractive surgery such as LASIK and PRK, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). He is a board-eligible ophthalmologist and licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the state of Missouri.
Dr. Clarke, his wife Megan and their new baby boy have grown to love Columbia and mid-Missouri, with its sense of community and integration of nature within the city. In their free time they enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, skiing and spending time outdoors with their dogs.
